BJI/CLR Federal Judiciary Symposium: Charting a Path for Federal Judiciary Reform
April 12, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Join us for an important day-long discussion about the critical need for federal judiciary reform. Featuring federal appellate and district court judges, a California Supreme Court Justice, practitioners, and academics, this symposium aims to rekindle federal judiciary reform. It will examine half-century old questions about caseloads and specialization, identify new issues and perspectives, and explore how the federal judiciary might be reformed to improve the administration of justice. Topics will include changes to federal judiciary jurisdiction, Supreme Court term or age limits, expansion of judicial slots, the ramifications of technological change, and case management practices.
