In January 2021, Veeva Systems, with the support of 99% of its voting shareholders, became the first public company to convert to a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). In January 2022, Amelia Miazad, Adam Sterling, and Dickson Louie published Veeva Systems: The Journey to Converting to a Public Benefit Corporation, a business school-style case study that goes behind the scenes of the PBC conversion.
