Professional Development for Practicing Attorneys
Berkeley Law offers lawyers the opportunity to enroll in single courses in the areas of business law, law and technology, or a package of courses culminating in a certificate. These courses and certificates are offered through Berkeley Law’s Executive Education program from mid-May through mid-August.
- LL.M. degree, J.D. degree, and/or a minimum 3 years of experience in law-related or relevant field
- English language fluency as evidenced by a TOEFL score of 100 or higher, or a successful phone interview with a member of the admissions committee (waived for Berkeley Law alumni)

Executive summer course participants attend classes along with students in the LL.M. professional track and are taught by Berkeley Law faculty.* Courses vary from one week to three weeks in length. Please see below for dates and times. Course descriptions are linked to course titles.
*Executive course participants attend on a non-degree basis (not matriculated). They do not earn academic credit, take a final exam, receive a grade or an official UC Berkeley transcript.
