June 18, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

This session will explore some of the complex and challenging issues that digital media and digital platforms are facing in the wake of the newly enacted California Consumer Privacy Act and the recently-issued final Regulations. Our panel will discuss likely enforcement priorities for the Attorney General’s office as well as CCPA-related litigation to date, including whether cases disclose major or surprising areas of risk, and/or enforcement challenges. The panel will also review compliance challenges including approaches for the adtech, analytics and marketing ecosystem, and challenges in responding to user access, deletion and do-not-sell requests.
