From Trump to Biden: Immigration Law One Year into the New Administration with Professor Jennifer Chacón

March 31, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

President Biden campaigned on the promise of moving away from the Trump Administration’s most hard line immigration policies. In this presentation, Professor Jennifer Chacón will explore the ways in which the Biden Administration’s immigration policies have moved away from Trump era approaches, and the ways in which they have been continuous.  The presentation will focus special attention on the role the federal courts have played in some of the Biden Administration’s efforts to change course.
