Emerging Issues in AI and Criminal Justice

August 20 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Professor Andrea Roth, the inaugural Barry Tarlow Chancellor’s Chair in Criminal Justice, is nationally acclaimed for her research on the intersection of science and evidence and broader issues in criminal justice. A dynamic classroom presence, she has been part of the Berkeley Law faculty since 2011. Professor Roth has received the Rutter Award for Teaching Distinction (2016) and the UC Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award (2019). She has also been honored by student organizations and was the chosen commencement speaker for the class of 2018.

This event is an opportunity to enjoy her lecture and insights with a small group of supporters of our endowed chair program and the dean’s priorities in hiring and retention.

By invitation only.
