BJCL Cybercrime Symposium: Trade Secrets

February 19, 2019 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm

The Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law (BJCL) is hosting its spring 2019 symposium. This year’s symposium centers issues in cybercrime and consists of three lunch talks by Bay Area practitioners whose work takes place at the intersection of criminal law and digital technologies. Our second lunch talk, scheduled for February 19, 2019, addresses trade secrets. The BJCL is honored to welcome several distinguished attorneys for a panel: K.C. Maxwell, a partner at Maxwell Law PC; Janice Reicher, a senior associate at Farella Braun + Martel LLP; and Lee Rubin, a partner at Mayer Brown LLP. The panelists will discuss the history, legal framework, and current trends of litigating trade-secrets claims in the criminal context. After a moderated discussion, the floor will open for questions from the audience.
