BJCL Cybercrime Symposium: Cryptocurrency

February 26, 2019 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm

The Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law (BJCL) is hosting its spring 2019 symposium. This year’s symposium centers issues in cybercrime and consists of three lunch talks by Bay Area practitioners whose work takes place at the intersection of criminal law and digital technologies. Our third lunch talk, scheduled for February 26, 2019, addresses cryptocurrency. The BJCL is honored to welcome an interdisciplinary panel to discuss the implications of cryptocurrency on committing and preventing crime: Jessica Nall, a partner at Farella Braun + Martel LLP; Damali Taylor, a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP; and Nicholas Weaver, a lecturer in UC Berkeley’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Lunch provided with RSVP: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cybercrime-series-tickets-55146544800
