Berkeley Law Artificial Intelligence (AI) Institute
November 10, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Artificial Intelligence, and especially machine learning, are transforming the way companies and other organizations provide services, develop products, analyze data, and manage internal processes. The legal profession is no exception. From contract analytics, legal research, and expertise automation to litigation review and contract generation, law firms, in-house corporate legal teams, and attorneys working for nonprofit organizations and government agencies are increasingly using AI to enhance their own workflows and deliver client services.
The Berkeley Law AI Institute is designed to train attorneys, judges, and other professionals in AI technology and its many applications, with a focus on the legal profession. Participants will walk away with a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence and its near and long-term applications, explore the myths and realities surrounding the technology, and delve into the legal, social, and policy implications of AI. Instructors include industry leaders, legal practitioners, and University of California, Berkeley faculty.
