Berkeley Boosts: Attacks on the Courts

This two-hour Zoom symposium will focus on some of the ethical issues raised by increased attacks on the independence and legitimacy of the courts. Recently, these attacks have come most noticeably from the political branches, but are also increasingly seen from practitioners and at times from judges themselves. Our symposium will engage with practitioners, scholars, and judges to better understand the issues involved and their implications for the legal community. MCLE offered.
