Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, and the Courts

The Berkeley Law Los Angeles Alumni Chapter invites all alumni to a virtual presentation by Professor Andrea Roth. Roth will discuss her research related to how artificial intelligence is changing the face of criminal justice, from pretrial investigation to proof at trial. In particular, she will discuss her work related to what the right of “confrontation” might mean with respect to machine, rather than human, witnesses.
