Retired Judge Brett Alldredge, will moderate the program; he’ll be joined by Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler, Judge LaDoris Hazzard Cordell (ret.) and District Judge Leo Sorokin.
The panel will consider:
- What do courts and judges need to be doing/thinking differently to consider alternatives?
- What evidence supports alternatives?
- How do courts and judges deal with political opposition?
- What are the burdens and benefits for everyone involved in considering alternatives?
