This four-day course will prepare you for the security industry’s new entry-level exam.
What is the SIE exam?
SIE stands for Securities Industry Essentials exam. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) will start offering this exam in October 2018, which “…is open to anyone aged 18 or older, including students and prospective candidates interested in demonstrating basic industry knowledge to potential employers.”
Interested individuals will be able to take the exam before they get a job in the securities industry. The SIE exam is a co-requisite for many of FINRA’s licensing exams, such as the Series 6, Series 7, Series 22, Series 57, Series 79, Series 82, and Series 99.
When & Where
The four-day program will be held from August 6 through August 9, 2018, on the UC Berkeley campus.
